New book project: Smart Home – Let’s become Smart
The digital transformation does not stop at many private houses. Smart home, private 4.0, smart living, life 4.0 and intelligent life are just a few of the buzzwords that have been in the press for months.
In 2019, Renate Sattler and Claus Michael Sattler carried out a complete renovation of a house. The freshly acquired home from 1974/1975 was completely gutted: 32 tons of building rubble, 8 tons of wood and two large troughs with glass fiber insulation material were disposed of. Today they both live in an almost CO2-neutral, smart house. The two publish their experiences together in a book. The working title „Smart Home“ has the subtitle „Let’s become smart“. The practical guide for the way to the smart house is the start for other media around the smart house.
In the first step, the book will appear as a printed book and as a digital eBook and will then be expanded to include numerous information media like:
- an audiobook version,
- Your personal checklist book from practice for your very own smart home project,
- an eLearning seminar,
- personal project coaching,
- the Let’s become Smart Club, where you can exchange ideas with other builders, and
- individual services that you can order from the both.
For providers of smart home products
Claus Michael Sattler: “We are absolutely certain that we have by no means exhausted all the possibilities that smart technologies offer us in private life. We are therefore looking for new products on the one hand and corresponding contacts with the manufacturers on the other. ”
Renate Sattler: “In this blog post, we consciously refrain from mentioning solutions that we have already installed. We rather want to get as many answers from the market as we can get and don’t discourage anyone from working with us on the book in advance. ”
Claus Michael Sattler continues: “We look forward to getting in touch with a provider of smart solutions for private households. Get involved! Enter into a dialogue with us and become part of the book: ‚Smart Home – Let’s become smart – Practical Guide for the Way to a Smart House‘! ”
